Contrave is listed; standalone naltrexone needs a local check
Singapore's National Drug Formulary confirms the naltrexone-bupropion product Contrave. Our July 2026 review did not find equally clear evidence of a currently marketed standalone 50 mg product for alcohol or opioid treatment.
The name on the record changes the answer
Singapore's National Drug Formulary lists Contrave prolonged-release tablets under licence SIN16411P. A Singapore telehealth provider also advertises that product. Contrave contains 8 mg naltrexone plus 90 mg bupropion per tablet and is for chronic weight management—not addiction treatment.
HealthHub publishes general naltrexone medicine information, but a patient-information page alone does not prove that standalone 50 mg tablets are currently registered, stocked, subsidised, or available at a stated price. We could not substantiate the previous SGD 200–500 monthly tablet estimate or claims about Vivitrol supply.
For alcohol or opioid dependence, ask a clinician or pharmacy to identify the exact product and strength they can supply. Do not treat Contrave as a substitute for addiction-treatment naltrexone.
